The first factor depends on your climate: a coat lives a hundred and fifty days a year in Paris and fifteen in Dubai. That is what almost every calculator forgets, and it is what skews their figures for a woman living abroad.
The last one depends on colour: a neutral piece enters far more outfits than a print, which nobody wears two weeks running.
The lifespan is physical wear, not fashion: knitwear pills, a sole wears through, a well-cut coat lasts eight years. We do not count the day you tire of it, because that day depends on what surrounds it, and that is precisely our work.
